Our client, a global Energy and Infrastructure Recruitment company and looking for a Bids Manager due to their extremely successful growth.

With 14 global offices, this company is looking to increase their NFI by 22% and go through rapid growth towards theend of this year and into 2024.This role will play a key part in there growth, making it a really exciting time to join the business.


Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing, this role will look after EMEA, America and Asia and work extremely closely with multiple stakeholders and Client Service Managers.

This role will help support the company's transition towards sustainable energyand play a vital part in increasing the company's revenue, completing Bids from start to finish from research to presentations/online portals etc.

covering the technical, commercial and marketing elements.


The responsibilities:

  • Full management of the bid process, including initial review, completion of the required documentation in line with the bid request and submission.
  • Coordinate, prepare and compile bid submission documents in relation to tendering / bidding activities, tender questionnaires and prequalifications.
  • Complete, or advise on completion of vendor qualifications in alignment with company policies.
  • Collate tender information and references from various sources such as online search engines, industry and market intelligence data etc., which are needed for submission
  • Assist sales teams in cultivating good relationship with existing and potential associates/customers
  • Build strong relationships with senior business leaders to ensure that they understand and trust the bid process.
  • Coordination of remote teams globally
  • Guiding less experienced consultants through the bid process while ensuring relevant sign offs are obtained at relevant stage gates throughout the process.
  • Working closely with compliance on legal reviews of all bids to ensure responses are submitted in line with company contractual policy.
  • Tracking all bids globally and monitoring spend post award.
  • Management of company profiles on supplier management portals such as ISNetworld, Achilles FPAL and UVDB.
  • Establishment of a formal bid process which has been implemented globally.
  • Liaise and provide a conduit between the wider Marketing team, Sales and our target client population to ensure that our Value Proposition remains clear, consistent and focussed.
  • Collaborate with internal content writers and designer on ways to improve the professionalism and visual appeal of our bid templates

Past Experience

  • Worked in a Bids role before in a recruitment company or Renewable services business.
  • Previous Tender experience
