    What does this role involve?

    The IT Business Analyst performs analysis on requirements for change and improves processes, products, services, and software; assessing the business model or its integration with technology.

    Utilising Agile methods, such as Scrum, you will create epics and break these into user stories for various product features.

    Working with key stakeholders, both internal and external, you will help define requirements, translate these into user stories and support across all aspect of business analysis throughout the project life cycle.

    This role will involve translating regulatory changes into user stories for product updates.

    Who are we looking for?

    Your experience in end-to-end requirements capture, both functional and non-functional, alongside your confidence as a creative thinker and problem solver will be central to the success of this role.

    Your commercial experience within software development projects as an IT Business Analyst in an Agile environment will be crucial to the role.

    Your experience working in a regulated environment, ideally within the utilities sector, will allow you to translate regulatory changes into user stories more effectively.

    Your skills in translating requirements into user stories, defining acceptance criteria, mapping process, preforming gap analysis, options analysis and supporting benefits realisation, will allow the business to make the best decisions possible.

    Your excellent communication and stakeholder skills will shine through allowing you to fully gain an understanding of customer needs and translate these into workable options and development paths.

    To be successful in this role you will be required to pass an enhanced security vetting process.
