Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Further Education College, who are looking to recruit a Supported Learning Learning Support Assistant to join their team based in the London Hounslow area.

JOB DETAILS:

PAY RATE: £26,000
WORK TYPE: Permanent
WORK PATTERN: Full Time

JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

To support learners with learning difficulties/disabilities that demonstrate innovation and creativity in meeting their individual needs.
To support on a programme of appropriate courses.
To assess, review and record learner progress and update class teacher and learners' notes accordingly.
Take pride in your support and ensure each learner is supported in a way that promotes independence.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

No formal qualifications are required but SEND Diploma, Makaton, PECS, BSL, Team Teach and any other SEN training would be advantageous.
Previous experience support SEN learners within an educational setting.
An enhanced DBS check is required
