    Job Title: Administrative Officer

    Salary: £28,277 per annum

    Location: UK, Cambridge (flexibility for hybrid working in the UK)

    Reporting to: Head of Fundraising Operations

    Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 until 17: hrs per week)

    As the Administrative Officer, you will work alongside colleagues who like to mix laughs and learning with hard work to deliver a world-class supporter experience.

    What's the role?

    In this role, you will play a critical role in CAMFED's UK-based fundraising team. This role is ideal for a first-class experienced administrator and will suit you if you are highly organised, enjoy making things work for a team, and thrive in detail. Our team has a strong commitment to learning and professional development. You can expect support from colleagues every step of the way as you build upon your knowledge and skills.

    In the role you will:

    • Handle key administrative functions for the fundraising team, including the procurement process for purchasing materials, organizing and filing collateral, preparing payment requests and receipts, paperwork for legacy donations, answering the phones, assisting with complex mailings, and sharing email boxes.
    • Support individuals in the team with travel arrangements, including preparing visa applications and sign-off processes, making flight, hotel, and train bookings, handling logistics for visitors to the office, and calendar entry.
    • Facilitate the coordination of events, for example, tracking RSVPs, printing and collating materials (name badges, presentations, etc), registering participants, ordering food, and preparing follow-up activities for the team's execution.
    • With the guidance of the Head of Fundraising Operations, help implement special projects involving the centralized database, for example, updating contact information, logging updates, generating and filing reports, coordinating with the IT team to implement changes and generally assisting with data accuracy and housekeeping.
    • Support the logical management of digital files on Google Drive and in other shared digital archives.
    • Other general Executive Administration duties.

    Person specification

    ● Detail-oriented with strong experience in administration

    ● Motivated to work quickly and effectively

    ● Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

    ● Excellent communication skills

    ● Experience using CRM or other database to log data accurately

    ● Eligible to work in the UK
