    Architectural & CAD Design Manager

    Job Description:
    We are looking for a talented and experienced Architectural & CAD Design Manager to join our team. As the Architectural & CAD Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the architectural design process and managing the CAD team. This role requires a strong background in architecture, expertise in CAD software, and exceptional leadership skills.

    Responsibilities:
    • Lead and manage the architectural design process, ensuring high-quality and innovative designs that meet client requirements and industry standards.
    • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals, budgets, and timelines.
    • Utilise CAD software and other design tools to create accurate and detailed architectural drawings, renderings, and models.
    • Review and evaluate architectural designs to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and specifications.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to the CAD team, ensuring their professional development and growth.
    • Coordinate with contractors and construction teams during the construction phase to ensure that design intent is maintained.
    • Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the design process.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in architecture and CAD design.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field Master's degree is a plus.
    • Must possess excellent 3D CAD modelling skills – using Autodesk Inventor.
    • Good knowledge of parametric control /iLogic would be an advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on CAD software.
    • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit,.
    • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to clients and stakeholders.
    • A portfolio showcasing your previous architectural designs and CAD work.
    • Proficiency in reading construction/manufacturing drawings.7
