The Role
A primary school in Manchester is currently looking for an SEN TA to provide support both inside and outside the classroom. The Educator will be expected to use their own initiative and be proactive with their approach whilst supporting the children in there learning and should be able to confidently follow lesson plans to a high quality. The role is for an SEN Teaching Assistant which will involve 121 support for pupils who have SEN. Some of the pupils needs are Autism, Moderate Learning difficulties and ADHD. Although the Y3 class is overall known for good behaviour it would be beneficial if the applicant had strong behaviour management and experience supporting children with challenging behaviour as this will be useful when trying to support amongst the whole class. Experience supporting children with SEN is essential.

The School
This a one form entry school has achieved "good" for their past three OFSTED inspections. The SLT have created a strong sense of community at the school. They have also shaped a strong sense of inclusion. The school had previously been working hard to become a forest school which it has achieved recently. Leaders have designed an ambitious curriculum for all pupils, including disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND.
