We are seeking to appoint a suitability qualified, ambitious, and committed Lead teacher of Geography who is keen to take the next steps in their career and make a real difference as a subject leader. The successful applicant will be well supported both in the department and by the senior leadership of the school.

The appointed person will deliver high-quality learning opportunities to young people, ensuring aspirational standards of behaviour, engagement and achievement are evident at all times, while also contributing to the calm environment of the Academy.
Additionally, the appointed person will have excellent subject knowledge and be able to use a wide variety of strategies to maximise learning. The ability to be able to inspire, lead and motivate staff to support the Humanities department's development journey is essential.
All teachers must ensure they work within the policies and procedures as laid out by the Trust and provide a good role model for young people, both in and out of the school environment. All teaching staff are expected to meet the national core standards for professionals at all times.
