    KATA Jewellery is a family-run jewellery company specializing in bespoke fine jewellery.

    We carry out all jewellery services from bespoke design & heirloom remodelling to repairs & sizings.

    We are looking for a new member to join our team as a Jewellery Retail & Administration Assistant in our Royal Tunbridge Wells retail shop & on site workshop.

    About the Job

    Our in-store experience and client journey is very important to our brand ethos.

    The role requires the successful candidate to be confident with communications skills, speaking with our clients and making them feel comfortable offering a high level of customer service.

    Our new team member will assist Jennifer & Anton Kata in:

  • facilitating the day-to-day running of our retail boutique
  • completing daily administrative tasks as required
  • providing a high level of client customer service
  • performing the sales function closing, taking in jobs, repairs etc
  • booking clients in for bespoke appointments
  • and generally performing a support role in the running of the business
  • Desirable Skills

  • Experience in a luxury jewellery shop
  • Knowledge of jewellery and gemstones
  • Content creation skills
  • Ability to use word & excel
  • About the Candidate

    Qualities we are looking for in an ideal candidate:

  • knowledge of the jewellery trade and industry
  • high levels of computer literacy
  • Personal Attributes Required

    You:

  • are a friendly and open personality as the role is client facing
  • have good written English for email correspondence is a must
  • have a good telephone phone manner
  • are a good listener
  • are detail orientated for taking down details for client repairs and alterations
  • have good time management skills and ability to work to deadlines
  • are good at taking direction
  • have strong organizational skills
  • have good computer literacy (a must)
  • have pride in personal appearance as the role is client facing
  • Job Type

    On site (ie not remote)

    Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5:30pm

    Salary

    £22,000 - £26,000 depending on level of experience
