    Description

    Sheridan Maine are supporting our client who are a highly successful, privately owned and long standing Group, who are seeking a Group Accountant/Finance Manager to join their business based from their offices, in North Dorset.

    This is a chance for the Group Finance Manager to establish themselves, by leading the finance team and building strong collaborative relationships with the Senior Leadership Team and assist in the continued organic growth and progress of the business.

    Preparation and reporting of Group Management Accounts
    Assisting in the preparation of draft annual accounts for annual Audit
    Management of the transactional finance team;
    Working with Accounts Payable/Receivables to resolve queries, escalating if required
    Manage payroll process ensuring robust financial controls are in place
    Ensure Group's compliance with VAT / PAYE & P11D reporting
    Monthly reconciliations of the Balance Sheet
    Reporting & detailed analysis of revenue and gross margin
    Overhead variance Analysis and Intercompany Accounting
    Maintainance of financial policies and procedures, suggest improvements, implement and monitor ongoing financial control
    Supporting the Head of Finance and wider SLT
    Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA Accountant or equivalent
    Manufacturing experience & Group accounting is desirable
    Advanced Excel skills
