    The post holder will support the review and delivery of our Council Plan and its vision to make Liverpool:
    fairer, cleaner, stronger for all.

    As Senior Policy Officer you will help shape and deliver this transformational agenda through collaborating with a wide range of colleagues and partners.

    This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise and to work with a wide range of influencers.


    Responsibilities:

    You will:

    develop, monitor and review the Council Plan and ensure its priorities are embedded throughout all council activity, other plans and strategies, and processes such as performance reporting and budget setting.provide corporate support and guidance on strategy and plan development.undertake policy, strategy, research and project development to progress corporate priorities and continuous improvement.support colleagues from across the council on projects and initiatives, as required.provide quality briefings, research intelligence, policy advice, project proposals and evaluation which will enable Liverpool City Council to influence the policies and activities of government and partner agencies/bodies at national, city region and local levels.


    What You'll Need:
