- Thought leadership and advisor on emerging technologies, e.g. Generative AI
- Identifying and triaging deeper issues that need fixing
- Looking for opportunities to collaborate and reuse components, communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Gaining an understanding of the overall strategy and how the architecture supports this
- Regularly connecting with fellow architects to draw on and share expertise and experiences
- Ensuring architectural decisions align to agreed guardrails
- Understanding the latest trends in technology and innovation, as well as new and future emerging technologies
- Supporting initiatives across their lifecycle when required - e.g. discovery consultation, prototyping, proof of concept, product research and analysis
