- Responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the 3D Workshop within the Faculty
- Support Creative Art and Design programs with fabrication, traditional wood and metal, modelmaking, and digital design processes
- Update and enhance workshop practices to align with modern applications
- Ensure efficient and safe workshop operations through Health and Safety guidelines and user supervision
- Conduct first-line maintenance on equipment and collaborate with IT, Facilities, and Procurement teams
- Participate in internal projects, exhibitions, and external events like University Open Days
- Require industry experience in fabrication, traditional woodworking, or modelmaking with exposure to the higher education sector
- Proficient in digital fabrication processes such as laser cutting, 3D printing, and CNC
- Familiarity with design software and creating educational resources for students
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse technical team
- Maintain workshop safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and document operating procedures
