What To Expect
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Buyer Assistant to be part of a thriving procurement team which responsible for mechatronics purchasing within Jaguar Land Rover.
The Buyer Assistant will be an active member of the team and deliver timely and efficient maintenance of a range of administrative duties and direct buying support, depending on the current needs of the area.
This is an excellent position for someone who has experience and knowledge of a range of administrative and purchasing tasks including raising invoices, purchasing orders and chasing suppliers.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Provide buyer assistant support to operational teams, handling administrative steps in processes (raise purchase orders, manage invoices, transact price adjustments, etc).
- Support data analysis.
- Provide administrative support on the maintenance of documentation to enable effective delivery of team objectives.
- Maintain dashboard for the management of the team activity.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
What You'll Need
Essential:
- Previous experience working in an administration or buying assistant role.
- Excellent numerical skills with previous experience of administering contracts and chasing payments.
- Proven track record of demonstrating logic and analytical thinking.
- Comfortable and confident to work across a range of stakeholders.
- Organised, ability to follow processes methodically.
