What To Expect

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Buyer Assistant to be part of a thriving procurement team which responsible for mechatronics purchasing within Jaguar Land Rover.

The Buyer Assistant will be an active member of the team and deliver timely and efficient maintenance of a range of administrative duties and direct buying support, depending on the current needs of the area.

This is an excellent position for someone who has experience and knowledge of a range of administrative and purchasing tasks including raising invoices, purchasing orders and chasing suppliers.

You will gain key exposure to a range of internal and external stakeholders within Jaguar Land Rover.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Provide buyer assistant support to operational teams, handling administrative steps in processes (raise purchase orders, manage invoices, transact price adjustments, etc).
Support data analysis.
Provide administrative support on the maintenance of documentation to enable effective delivery of team objectives.
Maintain dashboard for the management of the team activity.
Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.

What You'll Need

Essential:

Previous experience working in an administration or buying assistant role.
Excellent numerical skills with previous experience of administering contracts and chasing payments.
Proven track record of demonstrating logic and analytical thinking.
Comfortable and confident to work across a range of stakeholders.
Organised, ability to follow processes methodically.
