    Stanton House are working with a large Renewable energy business to hire a Corporate Tax accountant into their asset management and finance team

    The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.

    This role can be based either in Kings Langley or Guildford and can be done as a full-time role or Part-time.

    Up to £55,000 + GREAT bonus and benefits.

    About the role

    To support the Tax Manager to ensure UK group and Irish entities maintain high-quality tax compliance and reporting. This will include the preparation of corporate tax reporting, computations, HMRC tax returns, and associated tax workings for the UK & Ireland group entities. In addition, support the Tax Manager with various projects and provide tax advice to the business.

    What are we looking for?

    • relevant experience in tax reporting and/or preparation of corporation tax returns
    • ACA / ACCA / CTA part qualified.
    • The job holder will need strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written & oral.
    • The job holder will need the ability to prioritize and manage large volumes of work to meet deadlines.
    • The job holder will need UK corporate tax technical knowledge.
    • Experience of using ONESOURCE Corporation Tax software is desirable, but not essential.
    • Experience of assisting with the preparation of UK transfer pricing documentation requirements is desirable, but not essential.
    • Experience of dealing with service centres is desirable, but not essential.

    What will be your key responsibilities?

    • Provision of financial information and tax computations, together with supporting tax workings to the Tax Manager for review.
    • Preparation and review of internal and external corporation tax reporting and tax returns.
    • Support Tax Manager and Senior Tax Accountant with in-sourcing of tax returns from external tax advisors
    • Support Tax Manager integrate new business acquisitions into UK tax centre.
    • Support UK Financial Accountant in preparation of financial statements for the UK Legal entities reporting under UK GAAP from business units US GAAP financial records.
    • Support Tax Manager and Senior Tax Accountant with tax project work such as CFC, Hybrids and DPT analysis.
    • Support Tax Manager and advise business units on tax implications of projects.
