LARA search are searching for a dynamic and practised Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a lovely PRU in the East London area.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals who are experiencing challenging behaviours in various settings, including schools, workplaces, and community organizations.

Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group support to KS
KS5 individuals experiencing challenging behaviours.
Develop and implement behaviour plans to address challenging behaviours.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistency in behaviour management strategies.
Conduct assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviours.
Develop and deliver training programs for staff and parents on behaviour management strategies.
Provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of behaviour plans to ensure their effectiveness.
Maintain accurate records of interventions, assessments, and progress reports.
Attend meetings with parents, teachers, and other professionals as required.

Qualifications:

Experience working with children and adults with challenging behaviours.
Knowledge of behaviour management strategies, including positive behaviour support and applied behaviour analysis.
Ability to develop and implement behaviour plans based on assessments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
