    Description

    Risk Management Department is responsible for developing, maintaining and promoting the Bank's Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) and activities, and for providing independent second line of defence oversight for Traded Market Risk, IRRBB & FX Risk, Operational Risk and Model Risk management activities as well as the project management activities in the Bank. As an Associate - Project Management Office, you will be responsible to support senior members of the Team in delivering its core mandate and BAU activities while continuing to develop as a project management practitioner. This is a 12 month fixed term contract position.

    Key responsibilities

    • Assist in developing and maintaining project management policy and tooling, and drive implementation of such across the Bank
    • Assist in providing independent oversight and challenge on the quality and effectiveness of project management activities undertaken by the business (e.g. policy adherence, quality of project reporting, effectiveness of issue tracking and resolution) and provide independent and directional advice/recommendation as appropriate
    • Assist in producing and delivering management reporting at various levels in order to provide enterprise-view on status of in-scope projects across the Bank and to escalate key issues or concerns reported or identified that could impact the delivery of a project
    • Develop and maintain solid working relationships with key business stakeholders in order to drive implementation of project management practice and maintain adequate visibility of status of business projects
    • Work with other departments to develop and maintain an enterprise-view of the actual project expense vs. budget across in-scope projects across the Bank in order to ensure adequate senior management visibility and to support management decision-making
    • Assist in managing specific project (e.g. the current Bank-wide project portfolio and governance reporting) and completing assignments or activities as required by the Team Lead or Head of Department

    Requirements

    • Degree educated in Business, Finance or other equivalent
    • Knowledge of project management practices and tools
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly in the use of MS Excel
    • Good IT skills particularly in the use of organisational workflow tools
    • Excellent organisation and problem solving skills
    • Result-oriented with good attention to detail as well as a methodical and structured approach to work
    • Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate, build relationship with and influence key stakeholders
    • Excellent presentation skills
