    Registered Nurse - Renal Dialysis Unit

    This post is eligible for a Welcome Bonus of £2,500* (taxable) for successful candidates, split into 2 instalments, one at passing probation (6 months) and the next at 18 months in post (pro rata if applicable).     What does the role involve?

    Being a Dialysis nurse requires commitment and passion along with the skills and competencies to juggle the technical nursing aspect whilst giving holistic care. You will be working autonomously, responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of care for dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease or acute kidney injury.

    Bath Dialysis Unit operates 16 haemodialysis stations, serving up to 64 patients, in partnership with North Bristol Trust using only the latest equipment. Nursing is planned at a ratio 1:4 patients, and you will be supported by HCA's on each shift.

    This is a full time role of 37.5 hours a week. Current days are working various shifts between 7.00am to 11.30pm Monday to Saturday.
