£25,640 per annum plus company benefits


Location:
London, SE1

Contract: 6 or 12 month FTC, Full time

Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts between 07:00-19:00 with 30 min unpaid break

Williams Lea seeks an Multi Skilled Operator to join our team

Purpose of role


The Operator is responsible for delivering a first-class experience to our clients within the workplace facilities and the managed Document services.

The role-holder is responsible for the accurate completion of all tasks, delivered within the agreed service levels agreements. This is a hands-on role supports the regional Team Leader in managing the management workflow.


Key responsibilities:


  • Undertake all mail, courier, stationery tasks, records management and reprographics services provided within the One Stop Shop
  • Prepare mail and files for digital scanning by removing fixtures and fastenings
  • Scanning of hard copy mail/files into PDF format using high speed scanners
  • Scanning of records
  • Quality checking scanned copy against physical mail/file item to ensure all pages have been scanned
  • Receiving inbound couriers and booking outbound couriers
  • Ensuring work is competed in a timely fashion and of the highest quality
  • Full understanding of workflow processes and procedures
  • Support colleagues and work as a team in order to achieve the best results for clients
  • Undertake additional duties as requested by management.
  • Take responsibility for meeting targets
  • Carry out administrative tasks as necessary
  • Attention to detail is paramount
  • Develop positive and professional relationships with customers
  • Create and maintain highest levels of customer confidence by providing a flexible and responsive service, exceeding expectations where possible.
  • Develop an understanding of the customer's business and ensure that Williams Lea delivers a service in line with their objectives
  • Advising where appropriate on the best method of product and cost savings
  • To ensure all possible deadlines are achieved and managed in conformance with the SLAs

Knowledge and skills required:


  • High level of customer focus proactive approach to service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and confidence to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Ability to work alone or collaboratively
  • Able to judge accurately when issues should be escalated to senior managers
  • Motivated and enthusiastic with "can do" attitude
  • Ability to be motivated to work as part of a team.
  • Must be familiar with the English language, alphabet, numeracy, and spelling
  • Punctual and flexible to cover shifts where required
  • High level of attention to detail, working quickly and accurately
  • Follows procedures and checks work to ensure right first time
