    Description
    We are partnering with a manufacturing company seeking a Quality Engineer in Cambridge on a hybrid basis.

    Responsibilities :
    nConduct Supplier Audits to ensure our suppliers meet and exceed quality standards through regular audits and assessments.

    Identify areas for improvement and work collaboratively with suppliers to implement corrective actions.nAnalyse supplier performance data to drive informed decisions.

    Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve supplier quality metrics.nWork closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and procurement, to ensure seamless integration of quality processes throughout the supply chain.nLead and support continuous improvement initiatives.

    Implement best practices to enhance overall supplier quality and efficiency.nInvestigate and resolve quality issues by conducting thorough root cause analysis.

    Implement preventive measures to mitigate future risks.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is essentialnExpertise in supplier quality engineering or a similar position.nIt is advantageous to have knowledge about quality management systems and ISO standards.nKnowledgeable in ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, and IFSnCapable of driving design decisions where repeatable manufacturability deliverables are required.

    Competent in design for manufacture.nOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills.nThe capacity to forge close bonds with internal teams and vendors.nStrong analytical abilities and the capacity to understand trends and data.

    It helps to be proficient with data analysis software.
