Hours: 35 hours per week (With some evening and weekend work)

We are on the lookout for an organised and creative individual to manage and grow our social media channels and platforms at MEND.

Opportunity to contribute to the strategy to build the organisations online presence to maximise reach and help deliver our objectives on key platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.

Opportunity to Co-ordinate on the agreed social media strategy, working with in-house designers, wider staff, and volunteers.
Opportunity to contribute a creative input for projects and campaigns
Opportunity for script writing and copywriting for social media content
Creating quarterly reports documenting performance and analysing data to improve social media
Opportunity to contribute to the organisations digital marketing campaigns
Live tweeting and social media updates during key
Engaging with our online community, responding to interactions, and developing online relationships with key
Learning opportunities that may arise as a result of an evolving organisational environment.
At least 2 years of demonstrable experience engaging in social media management.
Excellent knowledge of current digital marketing concepts, best practices and strategy.
Experience in creating short films/ videos to communicate key messages.
An understanding of the political and cultural climate affecting Muslim in the UK.
A willingness to occasionally travel throughout the UK.
Experience editing videos using software such as Adobe Creative Cloud
