Multi trade Operative from a Carpentry background required in the London area.

They are a very well established Main Contractor running for over 50 years and is a family run business with 5 branches over 4 counties.

Description:

Reporting to the Project Manager the successful multi-trade operative will take on the role of supporting the London Branch Works Department with their ongoing works and variety of projects of a construction and refurbishment nature.

Due to the nature of our varied projects, works can be nationwide and require flexible working hours. Project sizes will vary from large projects working within a team or smaller projects with pairs or solo working.

These projects will include public sector, health sector, educational sector, retail, social housing, prisons, police stations, care homes, undertaking breakdowns and installation works.

The primary role of this multi-disciplined operative will be ensuring that the allocated projects are run efficiently and profitably ensuring full compliance to Health & Safety legislation and contract conditions.

The most critical conditions being that all work is completed to a high standard, in a safe working manner, within programme and to the total satisfaction of our client.

Desirable Requirements:

• CSCS Card
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a further chosen trade
• SSSTS/SMSTS or IOSH Managing/Working Safely
• First Aid at Work
