    Trade Marketing Manager

    Hybrid Hertfordshire

    £50-70k + package (DOE)

    Alexander Steele are delighted to announce that we have partnered with a successful European food producer. The business operates globally, and they supply retail, food service and B2B channels in the UK.

    As the Trade Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the brand's visibility, market share, and profitability across various wholesale, retail, and HoReCa channels. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and initiatives that align with the company's objectives and resonate with our target consumers and partners.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with brand objectives and sales targets.
    • Analyse market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
    • Plan and execute trade marketing campaigns to drive brand visibility, sales, and market share.
    • Ensure effective implementation of trade marketing initiatives at the point of sale.
    • Cultivate relationships with key partners and negotiate promotional opportunities.
    • Collaborate on developing tailored marketing materials for different channels.
    • Manage the marketing budget for maximum ROI and track performance against KPIs.
    • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management.
    • Ensure alignment of trade marketing activities with overall business goals.
    • Support presentations with current and potential clients.
    • Provide training and support to sales teams and partners.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 3 years of experience in marketing within the poultry, food, or FMCG industry.
    • Strong understanding of retail channels, trade marketing principles, and consumer behaviour.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Strategic mindset with proven project management abilities.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
