    Job Type: Full-time, field based.

    IQVIA are seeking a motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our dynamic Specialist team.

    This Key Account Manager plays a vital role in leading strategic initiatives across key target accounts to drive the adoption of our client's promoted medicines. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Territory and Brand Teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for several core elements outlined below:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact within designated accounts, fostering relationships with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) to promote appropriate use of our medicines.
    • Develop and maintain strategic account plans to support medication utilisation, collaborating with field colleagues and adhering to established guidelines.
    • Implement omnichannel approaches to engage with target HCPs through face-to-face, digital, and multimedia touchpoints.
    • Monitor performance metrics and adjust account strategies accordingly, leveraging insights from sales data and market research.
    • Lead commercial discussions with clinical and access components, delivering engaging presentations to key stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless customer interface and coordinate cross-functional activities within hospitals/centres.
    • Develop local advocacy and mobilize HCPs, supporting national advocacy plans as directed.
    • Address queries and issues related to product implementation and service provision within treatment centres.
    • Gather insights on access barriers, system issues, and future service needs.

    The ideal candidate:

    • Degree in life science or related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Proven ability to interact effectively with customers.
    • Experience in brand selling to specialist and secondary care centres.
    • Proficiency in key account management within hospital/centre settings.
    • Ability to influence NHS customers and project management skills.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Demonstrated commercial acumen and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment.
    • Experience in speciality medicine is desirable, but not essential.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally and hold ABPI qualification.
