Interim Project Accountant, Entertainment industry, up to £70,000 or £400per day, available immediately.

This is a newly created commercial finance role working alongside a fantastic Head of Finance based in the West End.

The role is varied with more project and undefined duties than business as usual.

Following a recent acquisition by a global talent brand, youwill be tasked with creating better client finance dashboards and management information for the business and the board along with management and financial accounting tasks.

This is an exciting role in one of the largest literary talent agencies in the UK,as well as being a talent management for actors, comedians, and musicians


Responsibilities:


  • Help develop better client finance analysis and dashboards, partnering with the department heads and agents.
  • Partnering with the Data Analyst for various FPA/Revenue duties
  • USGAAP/SOX technical tasks and partnering with the corporate team and parent company.
  • Preparing financial statements and statutory accounts, balance sheets, VAT returns, accruals & prepayments and journals along with other allround accounting tasks at group level.
  • Support Head of Finance on a wideranging number of projects, some of which are cutting edge and would be quite unique experience in the publishing industry.
  • Business partnering with both the client accounts and royalties teams.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Evidence of delivering accounting & finance projects
  • Experience working within an American based business is beneficial
  • Entrepreneurial and selfstarter
  • Experience in creative industry a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Collaborative and good communication skills
  • Comfortable working with all levels of management and in a global business
