Job role:

As an Electricians Mate, you will be travelling across the country to Retail, Business, and Shopping Parks to inspect and repair faulty external lighting systems on a planned and reactive basis.

You will also assist in the successful installation of new lighting solutions.

Key responsibilities:

Working closely with the qualified Electricians and supporting them in required capacity

Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive maintenance on external lighting installations and document all findings

Diagnosing and repairing electrical problems in external lighting installations, including fault-finding, rewiring, and monitoring

Assist in installing electrical systems to the current amendment of the wiring regulations BS 7671

Ensuring that all repairs are carried out in a fully compliant and safe manner with mínimal impact to local communities and businesses

Providing a high level of customer service to all clients

You will be supervised by the Electricians within the company and have all works checked over

Mandatory Requirements:

You must be technically minded and understand basic electrics

Ability to use a wide variety of tools and equipment at height

A clean Full UK Driving License

Efficient time management skills to plan ahead as we work 6am-3pm

You must be willing to stay away from home when required

Desirable/Optional:

Possess working knowledge of IEE wiring regulations

1-year Electrical experience in the field with the ability to carry out fault finding

IPAF Operator Training Certificate (Static Boom (1b), Mobile Vertical (3a), Mobile Boom (3b))

Full UK Driving License with C, C1, and BE driving certifications

Reimbursement:

£26,000 per annum depending upon experience

Enrolment into a bonus scheme and pension scheme

Subsistence allowance and all business-related expenses paid

28 days holiday allowance (of which 8 are reserved for bank holidays)

Salary:
From £24,000.00 per year
