    Position:
    HSE Manager


    Salary:
    £38k - £48k per annum + car allowance + onsite bonus

    Location:
    Across the UK (Travel Required)


    Type:
    Full-time, Project-based

    As an HSE Manager, you'll spearhead our commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards across diverse projects mainly within the construction and manufacturing industries.


    Responsibilities:

    • Champion compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
    • Coordinate and oversee contractors' activities through robust permit-to-work systems and on-site collaborations.
    • Conduct thorough audits and inspections, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Maintain and update the Construction Phase Plan (CPP) to reflect evolving project needs.
    • Deliver comprehensive site inductions for all personnel, prioritizing safety protocols.
    • Assess contractor competence and evaluate the adequacy of RAMS and COSHH assessments.
    • Lead engaging and informative site meetings, including safety briefings and supervisors' gatherings.
    • Conduct detailed incident investigations and implement corrective measures swiftly.
    • Act as a passionate ambassador for our company, contributing to the acquisition of new projects through your expertise and professionalism.
    • Fulfill any reasonable requests from Directors and Managers, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
    • Manage all relevant documentation meticulously in the absence of on-site HSE Support, including permits, RAMS reviews, and training records.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Health & Safety role, accompanied by a NEBOSH Construction Certificate and a strong grasp of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
    • First Aid certification is essential.
    • NEBOSH General Certificate preferred.
    • Valid UK Driving License is a must.
