    Description


    We are a young but successful and rapidly expanding company based in Hackney Wick, London, specialising in the design and fabrication of bespoke, high-quality mirrors, which we export worldwide.

    We are now creating a new important role working in the Sales and Customer Services Department, focusing on generating sales and assistant our customer base in the UK and Europe.

    The primary objectives will be to work with the Managing Director and the Sales and Customer Services Supervisor to:

    • be a first point of contact over the phone for all incoming enquiries,
    • follow up enquiries in the UK and Europe and generate sales,
    • provide an effective after-sale assistance to the company's customer base,
    • make a strong contribution to a 1stClass purchasing and customer service experience for all clients.

    Duties will include, but not be limited to:

    • Answer the office phone as and when required. Ensure that phone lines are always answered in a friendly and professional manner, and that messages are passed to the right member of staff.
    • Respond to direct enquiries received from the UK and Europe and all enquiries received on Etsy, send quotations and follow up to drive sales in that region.
    • Assist the Sales and Customer Services Supervisor with enquiries in other regions as and when required.
    • Contribute to the creation of presentations and other materials that may be required in the sales process.
    • Contribute to the development of a plan for the UK with the Managing Director and Sales and Customer Services Supervisor to pro-actively build a network of
    • Interior Designers and Architects that will specify our products and services and purchase mirrors and accessories from the company,
    • Showrooms/Retailers across the UK that will display mirrors and accessories and sell our products and services actively to individuals, Interior Designers and Architects.
    • Work with the Managing Director and with the assistance of the rest of the team to implement the plan. This may include (but is not limited to): making first contacts with target audiences with the aim to making a first introduction; making quotes for projects and/or set up appointments for a visit to their premises and/or a meeting at our workshop, whichever will be required; the visit may be conducted by either the successful candidate or the Managing Director; maintain contact with clients to develop regular business or follow up larger projects.
    • Create progress reports on agreed targets to be reviewed with the Managing Director and the Sales and Customer Services Supervisor.
    • Contribute to the implementation of a new CRM system and ensure that all communications and documents are properly files.
    • Assist the rest of the team as and when required with other sales, customer services, logistics or administrative tasks that may be reasonably expected. It may include preparing drinks for visitors as and when required.

    Team work will be crucial to success in the role, as well as excellent verbal and written communications and excellent organisational skills.

    Some experience in a Sales or Customer Service role is preferred, however the right approach to work and the right personality will be more important.

    Experience in design or in the design industry, understanding the work of Interior Designers is an advantage. Training will be provided.
