Job Purpose:

I am looking for an energetic Personal Assistant to join the team.

  • Role mostly involves cleaning, tidying and organising (helping to run a house) including carrying out errands when required. Prioritising tasks whilst being flexible around child's needs to include but not limited to supporting with food, play or learning.
  • Support outside of the house to include driving household car and may include pushing an adult or child in wheelchair. Support in swimming pool, trampolining or at a care farm may be needed as part of child's learning package.

Person specification

Essential:


  • Experience with children
  • UK clean driving license holder with car and the appropriate business cover
  • Reliability

Desirable:

Basic knowledge/experience in children with trauma, neurodiversity or de-escalating challenging behaviour an advantage.
Current enhanced DBS


Summary terms and conditions:


  • The rate of pay for this position is £11.00 per hour
  • Hours and times of work: to be determined
  • The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks
  • This position requires the employee to complete free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, First Aid, Risk Assessment, COSHH, Food Hygiene, Autism.
  • A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer if not already completed
  • Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer
  • Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
