Description
MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Houghton Le Spring area.

MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for a long-term position in production, operating machinery and wrapping products ready for dispatch.


The Role:


  • Attending morning briefings with team leader / supervisors for daily production targets
  • Safely operating machinery to manufacture products within spec
  • Hand assembly of light parts and components used in medical equipment
  • Carrying out visual quality checks of products, reporting defects to team leaders / supervisor
  • Hand packing orders and labelling products
  • Strict adherence to health and safety regulations

The Person:


  • Must have experience using hand tools
  • Prefer somebody who can solder or who have worked with electricals prior
  • Physically fit as manual handling is present in the role along with heavy lifting
  • Must be computer literate
