Role Purpose
The rating team is a diverse team, based predominately in London but with teams across all the country.
The team continues to grow year on year both from a people and revenue perspective and with these comes a variety of work and opportunities.
We are looking for enthusiastic people who wants to be part of the team.Key Responsibilities
‒ Submitting Freedom of Information requests to local authorities and processing the data received
‒ Liaising with Client Relationship Managers (CRMs) to obtain information from client.
‒ Collating and reviewing client data to identify opportunities.
‒ Using in-house software to review potential opportunities from analysis of VOA records.
‒ Writing to the VOA and local authorities to make case for refund.
‒ Reporting successful recoveries and audit progress to CRMs
‒ Contributing ideas and working towards the growth of the Rates Audit team.
Person Specification/Requirements
‒ Analytical
‒ Numerical
‒ Good IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
‒ Attention to detail.
‒ Good time management
‒ Team player who works effectively with colleagues and clients
‒ Ability to work autonomously and co-ordinate tasks efficiently.
‒ Self-motivated individual who can drive performance.
‒ Understanding of UK business rates system helpful but not essential as training will be provided.
