    Job Description

    We have an exciting opportunity for an HV Charging and Conversion Compliance Engineer who will work for our client, an iconic luxury British sports car manufacturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for on-time integration and validation of HV charging systems at a vehicle level of all HV Distribution, DCDC converters and on-vehicle charging systems and their integration into vehicle and to the grid across all programmes.

    The HV Charging and Conversion Compliance Engineer will:

    • and deliver HV On-Board Charging & DCDC conversion system compliance through integration and validation on vehicle.
    • post charging test data analysis and present the findings using data visualization tool.
    • and evaluate competitor benchmark information to influence concept creation in early project phases.
    • with component owners (OBC/DCDC, battery, Powertrain Controller) to define test strategy, develop test plans, test cases based on charging requirements.
    • AC and DC system software testing on vehicle to validate software release cycle.

    The HV Charging and Conversion Compliance Engineer will have:

    • of all relevant vehicle legislation and certification requirements for automotive HV Distribution, DCDC converters and on-vehicle charging systems and their integration.
    • and technical background in EV vehicle operation, charging ecosystem, EVSE.
    • technical knowledge related to charging system (requirements, stakeholders)
    • understanding of electrical signals, CAN, LIN, Ethernet, PLC Communication, and use of tools such as CANaylzer/ CANoe, Wireshark, CANape, Comemso EVCA, Keysight CDS etc.
    • to challenge experts, consultants, and seniors by presenting measured opinion.
    • written and verbal communication skills.
