    This High end independent practice are recognised more as a fashion brand rather than an opticians as they have a 360 model from manufacturing their own frames to doing solely private tests to dispensing This role is part time.
    Responsibilities of the Optometrist

    • Undertake 60-minute eye tests and contact lens assessments and have a professional handover to ensure the clients receive the best products for their needs and all the appropriate suggestions and recommendations are passed on.
    • Working with a team of 3 to make sure the patients have had the best experience.
    • Working In the single test room: Trial frames, Phoropter and OCT with 60-minute test slots and doing your own pre-testing,
    • Working hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10am – 6pm
    Requirements for the Optometrist
    • The role requires you be GOC registered with full CET accreditations completed.
    • A 60-minute testing time.
    • An advantage would be to hold certificates for extended services such as MECS etc. but not essential.
    • Experience of working in an independent environment would be an advantage but not essential as is more a willingness to be a part of a new team with all aspects of working in opticians covered. They are situated in a busy part of the city with good footfall. The company offers a wide selection of high-end products and services and more important this is not a hard sell environment.
    Compensation for the Optometrist
    • On offer for the right person is a competitive salary of £65,000 dependent on experience with professional fees paid and 28 days' holidays.
