    Full Stack Software Engineer

    We are on the lookout for a product-oriented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at ElephantOS. Our platform, ElephantOS, revolutionizes healthcare by digitalizing every aspect of clinical care, including inventory management, health insurance, reporting, and more.

    Our mission is to provide user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing tools that empower healthcare professionals, ultimately enhancing the healthcare quality.


    We are in search of a Full Stack Engineer who excels in both back-end and front-end development. While a balanced skill set is preferred, we are also open to candidates with a front-end emphasis.

    Our primary programming language is TypeScript; however, candidates with expertise in other languages or technologies, particularly strongly-typed languages, are encouraged to apply.

    On the front end, you will work with a single-page React application. Our React application interacts with backend services via graphQL, and extensively utilizes React Router, React Hook Form, and Apollo Client. Testing is carried out using Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.


    On the backend, you will encounter NodeJS microservices coded in TypeScript. We leverage Kafka to facilitate our event-driven architecture, and rely on MongoDB, PostgreSQL, S3, and Elasticsearch for data storage and retrieval. ElephantOS is a multi-cloud platform, deploying services globally through ArgoCD and Kubernetes.

    We have made substantial investments in our data platform, employing Google BigQuery and Python to furnish our clients with profound insights into health systems.

    As we expand, the quality of our data grows increasingly critical.


    We have placed significant emphasis on establishing a robust foundation in security and data engineering, setting the stage for an innovative product vision that will propel our markets ahead in healthcare quality and accessibility.

    We are seeking a Software Engineer with experience in contemporary technologies and methodologies. You should possess strong technical acumen and be capable of collaborating across front-end and back-end development.


    Requirements:

    • Thrive in ambiguous environments, exhibiting adaptability and resourcefulness to drive projects forward amidst uncertainties
    • Possess a solid grasp of front-end and back-end basics, with experience in any of the mentioned technologies being advantageous but not mandatory
    • Proficient in a JavaScript framework (preferably React, but also experience with Vue, Angular, or similar frameworks)
