    Description
    Job Description This role is part-time. Due to our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Stores and Maintenance Technician to join the team. You will be given the support you need in terms of training.
    You will need previous experience of a warehouse environment together with experience of using Microsoft Office packages.

    Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. picking, packing & loading
    Understanding asset management and calibration control.
    Practice skills of general DIY tasks, building flat pack furniture

    With support from the MAIT team, liaise with Projects and Procurement for non-conformances or shortages


    Maintenance Technician Activities:
    Housekeeping of the cleanroom facilities.
    Building basic furniture within the facilities (chairs, desk, cabinets)
    Assist with the forward planning and fitout of the manufacturing areas, raising PO requests.
    Lead the asset management and calibration control
    Lead basic maintenance activities
    Assist with forward planning and future fitout activities

    BAE Systems acquired In-Space Missions in 2021, and the two organisations have teamed to advance our space ambition by bringing all our space activities under a new, integrated business unit and leadership team which is focused on designing, building and operating world-class space missions for global customers.

    The new Space business unit now comprises approximately 180 staff located across 3 sites at Alton, Guildford and Great Baddow.
