Domestic & Commercial Gas Service & Breakdown EngineerOur client, a well-established mechanical engineering and building services company, is seeking a Domestic & Commercial Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer.
They have earned a strong reputation in the Building Services Industry by providing Design, Installation, and Maintenance Services to both public and private sector markets.
The work is primarily local to the Billericay office until July, with potential overtime required for school projects and occasional stays away from home.
The engineer must be willing to travel and work longer hours when necessary. Company Van~ Monday - Friday (8am - 4pm)

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and repairing gas and heating systems in domestic and commercial settings, including AC, ASHP, Biomass, Boilers, etc.
This role offers the opportunity for career progression to lead a team of breakdown engineers and establish a facilities maintenance division.
50% in Essex, 25% in London & Home counties, and 25% involving travel & stay away on a rota basis.
Extensive service and breakdown experience in domestic and commercial gas and heating applicationsMechanical expertise in commercial plant rooms, boilers, heating appliances, etc.
Experience in HVAC systems, AC systems, ASHP, renewables (desirable)
Valid ACS Commercial and Domestic Gas Tickets, including COCN1 or CODNC01, CIGA1, and CDGA1
Relevant plumbing and qualifications are advantageous
Experience in schools, hospitals, and occupied commercial premises
Experience in private, sheltered, and council domestic properties
