Chef Manager - Term time only

We are currently looking to recruit an ambitious, keen and enthusiastic Chef Manager to join our clients' team based at this secondary school in Enfield, Middlesex.

Catering for a brand new school which aims to reach full capacity in the next 5 years and will hold approx.

1200 pupils as well as staff.

In this role, you will be a good all-rounder who is willing to work with as well as lead the team of 4.

You will be responsible for all the paperwork for due diligence as well as manage ordering and stock take - training will be given if required.

As the foodat this site mirrors another school, you will work to specs for the food offer although there is flexibility to be creative.

This is a term time only position (43 weeks) Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm. There are inset days and these will be paid as extra.

  • Be a strong Chef Manager or lead Chef with a proven work history
  • Be able to lead a team as well as work as a team player
  • Have strong admin skills as well as be able to ensure correct record keeping
  • Have an understanding and some experience of finances and paperwork (training will be given)
  • Be able to use your initiative and be proactive
  • Be organised and able to plan ahead
  • Be passionate about good food and presentation
  • Be flexible and willing with a positive can do attitude

With training and development on offer, this is a great opportunity for a Chef Manager or a Lead Chef who would like to progress onto Chef Manager.
