    Our London Heathrow office is now searching for a top level multi-modal Business Development Manager to generate and grow UK ocean and air freight customer base, with the ability to control the business and work collaboratively with our operations experts.


    Responsibilities:

    You will be responsible for growing and developing Rohlig UK's air, ocean and European road freight business with the support of the UK Sales Manager, Branch Manager and the wider North Europe regional leadership team.

    Our offices in London, Birmingham and Manchester have expert teams of operators able to support your business, together with a highly skilled Customer Solutions Team for smooth and successful onboarding.


    Skills required:
    Freight forwarding sales professional with full knowledge of the industry/product (ideally, including operations and experience of using Cargowise1).
    Extremely self-motivated and results driven, influential and have solid commercial experience and business acumen.
    Competent in all aspects of the process, from arranging your own appointments to hitting targets to rate negotiation.

    Able to connect with people quickly and effectively and to use persuasive communication skills to gain interest and trust.

    Collaborative at all levels.
    Able to complete work very quickly and accurately and in line with Company procedures.
