Full Time Salary:
Up to £25,000 (Reviewed & Increased After Probation)


Ador Talent are working with an Engineering company (energy renewable sector) based in Darwen/Blackburn, who design, build, operate and maintain centralised and efficient engineering solutions.


Due to continued growth and the continued focus on training and develop of their employees skills sets, our client now requires a Training Coordinator to join the HR team based in the Blackburn HQ.

The Training Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support for all aspects of training and development.

  • Booking training/routine courses and responding to training enquiries
  • Issuing mandatory (elearning) training requests/ notification for existing and new employees
  • Using the employee database to monitor upcoming course expiry dates and booking relevant courses where necessary. Completing internal paperwork, and issuing joining instructions to course delegates whilst monitoring attendance
  • Issuing Training Agreements where relevant
  • Coordinating the payment of invoices and completing the monthly return for the training credit card
  • Ensure validity and expiration dates of skill cards/CSCS/ECS and assisting with the administration of site cards, including identifying requirements for new starters
  • Keeping all departmental Training matrix's updated once training completed
  • Arranging training facilities as required e.g. training rooms, copy training material, book refreshments etc.

The Person Skills and Experience:

  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
  • Experience in using a HR/Administrative Database (Desirable not essential)
  • Demonstrable experience within an administrative role (Essential)
  • Experience from within the construction industry (Desirable)
