Fixed Term, 12 months position, 12 PA's

Most areas of special interest can be accommodated and we would welcome applicants who wish to consider part time or flexible working.

Working with a friendly team reporting histopathology/cytopathology for Wye Valley NHS Trust and neighbouring areas of Wales

Attending MDTs for appropriate disciplines according to special interests (most of which can be accommodated)

Opportunities to get involved in new projects including digital pathology and staff training

Opportunities to lead an area of specialist interest and get involved in management

Being a small Trust, our consultants have an excellent close working relationship with all specialities who use our services. We also have good working relationships with other Trusts including Worcester and Birmingham.

The Trust has an excellent Health and Wellbeing staff support programme, including links with the local Halo Leisure Centre.

Herefordshire is a predominantly rural County of exceptional natural beauty; Hereford itself is an attractive cathedral city situated on the river Wye, whose main industry is cider-making.

It lies close to the borders of Wales, offering plenty of outdoor activities and beautiful scenery. It lies approximately an hour by road from Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff, with direct rail services to London.
