    GE's Power Conversion business, part of GE Vernova, provides electrification systems that are critical to customers' power and energy needs for their high-performance applications.

    We work with some of the world's major energy, maritime and industrial organizations, helping to enable a transition to energy efficiency and decarbonization, including through our specialist motors, drives and control technologies.

    A one year in industry placement with us will give you a hands-on practical application of the theory from university.

    In the 12-month of the placement, you will gain invaluable skills and experience in covering different aspects of power systems engineering, power electronics engineering, manufacturing engineering or software development.

    The responsibilities of the role will depend on the team you go into, but all the roles will offer interested challenges and opportunities for growth and development.

    participate in the verification and validation testing of technical solutions and systems
    develop communication skills to liase with customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors
    develop skills in project management and planning
    learn how to apply engineering standards and how to develop design practices.

    We are looking for u ndergraduates studying towards an Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineering degree from an accredited university.

    will have completed a minimum of 2 years of the undergraduate degree but will not have graduated at the start of the placement.
