- Design, develop, and manage tools and utilities using GoLang to elevate our development procedures focusing on effectiveness, dependability, and scalability
- Set up SDLC automation utilizing GitHub Actions for automating tasks like construction, testing, deployment, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Organize and oversee workflows within GitHub Actions employing YAML syntax.
- Merge custom tools and automated workflows with existing development infrastructure.
- Resolve issues and look after automated pipelines to ensure smooth function.
- Keep informed with the latest developments in GoLang, DevOps approaches, and automation tools.
- Cooperate with developers and operations teams to comprehend needs and offer productive solutions.
- Ensure compliance with best practices, coding standards, and design patterns by working with the team.
- Participate in code assessments and give valuable feedback to colleagues.
- Link with Jira APIs to simplify development flows (additional experience).
- Draft and sustain technical documentation and user manuals for tooling solutions.
- More than 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar capacity.
- Excellent programming skills concentrating on GoLang development.
- Background in developing internal tools and utilities utilizing GoLang.
- Thorough knowledge of SDLC principles and best practices.
- Demonstrated use of GitHub Actions to automate workflows for CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with YAML syntax for defining workflows.
- Practical experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (an advantage).
- Strong communication and collaboration aptitudes.
- Capacity to work autonomously and as part of a diversified team.
- A zeal for creating effective and automated development workflows.
- Bonus: Knowledge of Jira APIs.
