As an Enforcement Officer, you will play a crucial role in initiating legal action against leaseholders and freeholders for the recovery of both capital and revenue service charge debt.

Additionally, you will prepare the Council's case for presentation to the First-Tier Tribunal (FTT) and represent the Council in FTTs and the County Court.

You'll provide advice and assistance to staff on leasehold and freehold matters and support strategic roles within the Council.

Your main duties include but not limited to:

Assist in preparing evidence and documentation for legal action regarding service charge recovery or defending the Council's position in legal matters.
Present cases before Courts and the FTT.
Conduct research into legal questions and brief Counsel as necessary.
Negotiate contractual arrangements with involved parties.

Special Conditions of Service:

Expected to work outside normal office hours on occasions.

From £29.42 per hour
