Description

Acorn is searching for a Quality Management Systems Coordinator to join their client, a chemical manufacturer and distributor based in Runcorn, Cheshire.

Reporting to the Group IMS Manager, the purpose of the role is to help manage the company Integrated Management System (IMS) covering ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 ensuring full compliance against applicable standards.

Duties of the role include:

Forming part of the compliance team, helping to drive continuous improvement within the group.
Ensuring that the company remains compliant with all relevant standards at all times.
Administration of the company document control register, ensuring that documents are updated and reissued as required.
Organising and carrying out internal audits inline with the company internal audit program covering ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO54500
Conducting Internal audits of all company processes and procedures to ensure compliance against the IMS across all relevant sites. This will include travel to other sites as necessary.
Following up and ensuring completion of nonconformances raised from internal and external audits, assisting and ensuring that corrective actions are implemented in a timely and effective manner to resolve any issues.
Providing support to the Group IMS Manager in preparation of quarterly IMS reports and the group management review.
Development and implementation of new management systems as per business needs.

37.5 hours per week over 5 days.

Salary is negotiable - dependent on knowledge and experience on offer.
