Our team is involved in every element of People and Finance activity. That includes payroll, casework, referencing and onboarding, through to billing, paying suppliers, and month end activities.

It's up to us to lead, support and deliver an excellent service across our core processes including M anaging R evenue; P rocurement; P roject and A sset M anagement ; Finance Processes; People Processes.

Our Business Services teams focus on three areas: Systems and Transformation, Service Delivery, and Business Intelligence.

You will work within the Treasury & Cash team to ensure the accurate allocation of cash received for the Group and that all daily Treasury transactions are reconciled in conjunction with the Heathrow Controls Processes.


  • Accountable for the accurate allocation of all cash received for the Group.
  • Proactively interfacing with the business and customers to resolve any queries relating to cash management, ensuring process compliance.
  • Assisting with the reconciliation of cash & treasury balance sheet accounts, resolving any issues to ensure the entity balance sheets accurately reflect the underlying business transactions.
  • Assisting with the processing of daily income for Heathrow Express
  • Reconciling daily advance income files to ensure monies received reconcile to what we expect to receive per the online booking systems.
  • Providing cover for specialist duties: cash transfers, recording and compliance of metrics, measures, and controls.
  • The flexibility to work across several transactional service duties.
  • Participating in projects and working groups and carrying out any other duties that may be outside the standard remit for the purpose of personal development to ensure outcomes are met.
  • Highly numerate and literate, with good logical and organisational skills.
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Excel as evidenced through working practice or in learning.
  • Good comprehension of doubleentry bookkeeping
  • Flexible, selfmotivated team player, with the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Ideally, you will also have:


  • Knowledge of Oracle Applications, particularly General Ledger and Cash Management would be advantageous.
  • An appreciation of VAT principles.

Working Location
Our agile approach offers the opportunity to combine home working with meetings, events and training at the airport.

All roles involve some on-site working each week, so you'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
