    Description
    Position: Workshop Controller
    Location: Paisley
    Hours: Monday to Friday days
    Pay: £39,250
    70% - 30% split (office – tools split)

    About your new company

    My client is a fleet maintenance company who have been established for over 25 years. They are now looking for a skilled Workshop Controller to hit the ground running and join their ever growing team.

    About your new Workshop Controller role
    • Running VOR reports in the morning / end of day to customers
    • Scheduling all jobs / work to the HGV Technicians for the duration of shift
    • Booking parts out and ordering parts / consumables
    • Quality control work on vehicles
    • All general day to day administration related to the role
    • 70% office based and 30% tool based
    • General Workshop Controller duties
    The successful Workshop Controller will require
    • An in-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles and trailers.
    • Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but no essential)
    • Be a fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ level 3
    • Be able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair
    • Previous experience as Workshop Controller
