The City of London is a centre of excellence in tall, complex, multi-tenanted buildings, but deals with an interesting mix of heritage and cultural projects also. We have a stable workload and a supportive team, with sufficient Registered Building Inspectors.

Working with eminent designers and contractors, our projects portfolio includes some of the UK's largest buildings, predominantly multi-million-pound office and retail developments, hotels and residential apartment blocks, incorporating leading edge innovative design solutions.

We are looking for a highly skilled, competent, dynamic individual to join us as a Goup Building Control Officer. You must be committed to delivering a world class Building Control service in a highly competitive market. You will play an important role in ensuring the viability and standing of the City District Surveyor's Office now and into the future.

Professionally qualified, you will have extensive professional and technical skills necessary to work within a competitive Building Control environment. Full support will be given to those with the right skills but who have not worked with our unique mix of project types. You will be prepared to gain your competence assessment and registration as an RBI at class three, but support will be given to those already on that journey at class 2.
