    Previous experience working as an Engine or Rendering Engineer on a shipped AAA title is essential for this role, as is a practical knowledge of code architecture best practices. Effective communication and collaboration skills are required for working with internal stakeholders, and you must have the drive and passion to push for higher quality at every opportunity.

    Key Duties Include

    • Work closely with the Engineers and other disciplines to get the most of the engine and hardware
    • Own the planning and delivery of large bodies of work, with minimal supervision
    • Support less experienced team members, mentoring them, and raising the standards of the whole Engineering team
    • Produce clean and robust code, following all standards and guidelines, including the use of automated testing processes
    • Pro-actively seek opportunities to improve the quality of everything we do
    • Actively take part in our collaborative and creative team spirit

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as an Engine or Rendering Engineer on AAA titles, demonstrating mastery of rendering techniques and technologies
    • Expertise in C++, encompassing code optimisation, debugging, and profiling to ensure high-performance systems
    • In-depth comprehension of code architecture and industry best practices, ensuring the development of robust and scalable solutions
    • Demonstrated ability to independently plan and execute high-quality work, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and project coordination
    • Strong passion for gaming technology, coupled with an consistent dedication to achieving excellence and pushing quality in game development

    Desirable

    • Experience in Unreal Engine 4 or 5 on a AAA title
    • Experience working on open world titles
    • Experience working on current generation consoles
    • Experience mentoring other Engineers
