Salary: 13-month Freelance position 3/ 4 days a week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with experience in cut and carve methods to join our client on a freelance basis.

Our client is a reputable contractor who has been operating for 10 years.

They work across several sectors, with dedicated teams experienced in producing high quality outcomes for Retail, Commercial, Leisure & Hospitality.

Their teams work to provide first class refurbishments and fit outs in shops, restaurants, and student livingblocks.

As a Project Manager you will provide a central point of communication and interface for a specific project on a day-to-day basis within the Hotel and Leisure industry.

You Will:

The Project Manager will be r esponsible for all stages of the project delivery scoping, programming, costing, H&S and delivery.
Knowledge of Cut and Carve works at Project Management level
As a Project Manager you will need to contribute towards and ensure the delivery of project objectives whilst consistently focusing on profit margins.
The Project Manager will complete weekly site audits relative to both H&S and programme progress on all live sites.
Identify customer requirements and communicate these clearly and concisely to design personnel, project coordinators, site managers and suppliers.
As the Project Manager you will need to ensure the Site Managers are fully briefed in advance of the project and understand all requirements and expectations.
Ensure projects meet building control requirements and any other regulatory bodies as required, including planning, warrants and structural.
The Project Manager will take the lead and overall responsibility to ensure projects adhere to internal health and safety policies.
Write Small Works Plans and Construction Phase Plans for each project and submit to H&S Dept for checking. And deal with asbestos report as necessary.
The Project Manager will oversee the management of subcontractors' performance, programme adherence, quality and value together with the Operations Manager and put measures in place to address performance which is falls below expectation.
Ensure commercial opportunity, risk and change controls are delivered effectively on projects to achieve agreed margin and profit targets.

You Will Need:

CSCS Gold Card/ Black CSCS card
Asbestos awareness (UKATA)
First Aid at Work
Previous experience within hotel fitout and cut and carve experience

In Return:

3/ 4 days a week on site

- £360 per day
