As they continue to expand their operations, they are actively seeking an experienced MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) Manager to oversee projects in the Severn Trent region.
Position Overview:
As the MEICA Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of clean and waste water treatment plant projects.
Your responsibilities will encompass the coordination and management of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to project requirements, schedules, and quality standards.
Expertise in water treatment processes and systems, along with familiarity with contractual frameworks such as NEC, will be highly advantageous for this role.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee the MEICA aspects of clean and waste water treatment plant projects from initiation through to completion.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of MEICA components into project deliverables.
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues related to MEICA scope, implementing effective strategies to minimize disruptions.
Conduct regular inspections and quality assessments of MEICA installations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications.
Cultivate a culture of safety, quality, and innovation within the MEICA team, fostering continuous improvement and best practices.
Provide regular progress updates and reports on MEICA activities to senior management and project stakeholders
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Demonstrated experience managing MEICA aspects of projects in the water treatment industry.
Thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems relevant to water treatment processes.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to develop and execute project plans, budgets, and schedules effectively.
Familiarity with contractual frameworks such as NEC will be highly advantageous.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Professional certifications or memberships related to MEICA engineering or project management are desirable
