    Carbon Engineer

    We're looking for CarbonEngineer to join our Devonport Docks team based in Plymouth, Devon.

    Location: Devon, Plymouth - remote working available, will need to be on site 4 days per week.

    Contract: Permanent, Full Time

    Responsibilities

    As a Carbon Engineer, you'll be working within the 10 Dock team. You will support them in leading and coordinating work across the Devonport Dockyard framework of projects to develop, design, provide opertional control, construction oversight and commission projects associated with establishing carbon reduction and energy efficient practices within KierBAM Joint Venture at Devonport Royal Dockyard in Plymouth.

    Your day to day will include:

    • Work with the engineering, procurement, commercial and wider construction teams to identify, implement, monitor and report on the project carobon goals and requirements
    • Manage carbon quantification in line with BREAM Infrastructure and PAS2080 compliance
    • Present accurate material quantities, e.g. fuel, waste, transport and materials under KBJV's control
    • Produce technical notes and support carbon reporting throughout the lifecycle of the project
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant company and joint venture policies and processes

    What are we looking for?

    This role of Carbon Engineer is great for you if you hold:

    • Degree qualified in Engineering, or equivalent subject relating to carbon management in the built environment
    • Experience in embodied carbon modelling ideally related to BREAM Infrastructure and PAS2080 compliance
    • Competent in data analysis
    • The abilitiy to communicate clearly with internal & external stakeholders along with commercial processes awareness
